It’s an interesting conversation for sure. As a Christian I think us mortals do good when we have a purpose for our own happiness in this life. But I have found that to truly do that I must focus my purpose on God. The Bible states that the first commandment is to love God and the second is to love our neighbor. I have found when I do focus on God everything else falls into place. When I focus on my own happiness I tend to always fall short.
